I'm back from Boston!

Forget about the work part in Boston, I had lots of fun...hanging out with my friend Pasun. She took me all around town! I was supposed to come back on friday but stayed over at her place until Sunday. I had the best Thai food, the most stuffed meal, great hot pot/shabu shabu, the greatest shopping, seen one of the most beautiful churches, seen the monument for Bejamin Franklin, enjoyed awesome strolls at Harvard Square, and met the most awesome people!

Thank you Boston!

Kingston has really nice waterfront view of Lake Ontario. All the yachts and boats are parked rite over, it is a watertown. The shops are authentic and unique. The people are really nice, of course that would be Cai, Donnie, Yan & the lovely Jada. Thank God for creating such beautiful places for us to visit and bringing us joy while traveling. I truely love You!

Toronto/Kingston 3rd nite

man, such a day today!
Really enjoyed myself with Edwin and friends. They are really good drinkers and karaoke people. All the beers and shooters and stuff. lot's of alcohol and mostly, lots of fun. Just the way parties are supposed to be.
I was supposed to hop on the 8:15am bus from Kingston back to Toronto but Donnie couldn't get up in the morning so i took the 11:15 ride instead. It wasn't until 2:30 I got to Toronto and met with Jessie and Edwin/Nikki. After that we went shopping a little for the Roots recycle bags and Canadian souvenirs. Then we were off to a restaurant called the Full House restaurant and it was good. Though i was so stupid after coming back home, thought i left my handbag at the restaurant, made Edwin drove me back to the restaurant to pick up the bag. Then midway to the place, realizing that i took the bag already, but just left it at the door step. My friend wanted to stab me! He was calling his mom to get all the knifes and sharp objects out. I asked if he can only to fork me instead of using the knife!
I was such an idiot and can't remember sh@t!
I think i had a couple of shooters too much, so sleeping time is here.
later!

great place-toronto, worst flight-american!

Great that i'm at my cousin's place now getting to sleep, supposely.... really nice Donnie handed over a laptop for me to check mail and stuff. I thought i wasn't gonna be here until today...

My flight supposed to leave JFK at 5:10pm yesterday. We got to the airport at 4:15 and the lady at the front desk said that we were really late for the flight.. and asked us that since our luggage is so small mind as well take them with us. We did that and of course the nice bottles of wine and my friend's $200 make up stuff were taken away...

After a whole long 10 min walk with our luggage to the gate, didn't even take a breath, we thought we were in good shape with10 minutes before the boarding time, then the crew at the gate told us the flight was cancelled. I was in total disbelief. Without giving us much explaination, the told us to take a seat. then of course, other people on the same flight were also waiting to get some kind of response from them.

another long wait later. at around 5:25 it was our turn, can't believe it but the lady told us to go to La Guardia to take the Air Canada flight that leaves at 6:30, i asked her how was I supposed to make that flight? then she gave me a voucher to take a car service over... I was relief until we reached downstairs.... There wasn't a car from that specific car service there! after calling the cab company we finally got a ride, we got to la guardia at around 6:10pm got to the counter, the crew gave us a dirty look cause we told him we needed the 6:30 flight... he had that attitude and said "you are not making the 6:30 flight, I'll get you something else.." i said to myself, dude do you have to say it like that? Well, he did us good and gave us seats at the next flight at 7:30. So we finally was able to board and got to Toronto!

On the way, I did so much praying and asking the Lord if we were not supposed to come to Toronto. Then later i realized that God just wanted me to get on a better flight. The American Airline flight would have been very cramping with no room to sit and no service at all, in the other hand, air canada has a bigger aircraft and able to service better.

I thank God I arrived safely and had great time here. Our friend Edwin took care of us really nice. He bought us to a nice chinese restaurant and enjoyed dinner then took us back home to put us up. His family has a really nice place at Markham. We bothered him until 2am in the morning, although he has to get up really early and drove me to the bus station this morning. He's such a nice kid. My cousin here is great also. drove me around town. Hung out at his restaurant and did some shopping at the mall. Then he gave me a tour of Queens University. His family also took me to a nice steak house for dinner. I got really good hosts here in Canada!

Going back to Toronto for the rest of the trip tomorrow morning, also meeting my friend Jessie who just handed in her thesis paper for her master's degree in Toronto. Hope to have a lot of fun!

Btw, my friend Edwin will take me to his church in the neighborhood for Sunday service! hoohooo!

photos are coming up.... after i come back.

Wow! overwhelmed!

so much to do, so much have done, and so much more to do!
Summer conference is finally over. The joy and the fun and the work and the no sleep and the worry about this and that is all over....Left only with a little loneliness...plus a little worn off too.
This summer conference is the first time i served God in OCM with a tittle. I was the Large Group Activity Coordinator along with 2 others. We started planning all of 3-4 months ago, to start brainstorming ideas, then 2 months ago, we started to argue with  plan is better fitting our church, then 1 month ago, we still haven't decided which plan to go forth...finally, we realized praying would help. So we asked for prayers from the team, from our friends. God blessed us and we finally came to a perfect conclusion after meetings and a few dinners together. 2 weeks ago. We were set to go!
Though we were lacking a "to do list" for the activity. IT REQUIRES TRANSLATION! So i was 膽粗粗and volunteered to translate it into Chinese. I knew i needed someone to help me revise my Chinese. Only I didn't realized my Chinese was not even 3rd grade---it was 1st grade level!!!! Of course, we needed our Conference President to revised it, then it even had to go through our Pastor Kong for better translation! 好羞愧啊!
The Large group activity went pretty well. I love our idea. Though I did get some feedback that the activity was more for kids and over 60% of the Chinese congregation didn't show up, but the idea of building a church together as a fellowship is wonderful and fit our present condition for our church---we are rebuilding and renovating our church, not only the exterior but to renew our hearts and spirits together.

May the Lord bless us with pure hearts and THE HEARTS TO SERVE GOD!

So many people, so cool everybody works together to build our "Church"!

Ideas came across!

The finished product! OUR CHURCH!

Isn't it so nice!!!
